2.3TWO CAMERAS AT ONCE
Dual capture
Both sides of the moment, at once.
Record the front and back cameras simultaneously, saved as two separate clips: what happened, and what happened to you. The screen stays dark the whole time.
DISPLAY OFF
Two cameras, two clips
Dual capture runs the front and rear cameras at the same time and writes two separate files, not a picture-in-picture composite. You keep full-resolution footage of the scene and of yourself, and you decide later which one matters.
For personal documentation this is the difference between evidence of an event and evidence that you were there: the rear camera records what you saw, the front camera records your side of it.
Discreet, like everything else
Dual capture inherits the rest of the app's behaviour: no preview on screen, haptic confirmation on start and stop, and your chosen save destination, whether that is Photos, the Face ID vault, or both.
